This page is for all of us. Caring for a loved one with special needs can feel lonely, and it helps to hear from people who understand. Pull up a chair, share what's working for your family, ask a question, or just say hello.

Every comment is read before it appears, so this stays a kind and safe place.

Kind Words

Some of the notes friends have shared with us. Thank you all.

“You're a good man , Al!!”

“Al, I remember when I worked at Berlin for a few years and I know you always had your brother and sister out doing something, it was quite obvious you cared very deeply for them. How to transition into time care is absolutely remarkable. I just shared your story with a closer friend of mine who is a widower and whose son has autism, although he's fairly high functioning, I see the challenges that he faces but more importantly, I see the two of them have and it's amazing”
